The process begins with a one-hour design consultation with one of our creative designers. We will listen to your ideas, your lifestyle, and your personal tastes to see what elements are important to you as well as exploring different options to create a custom design tailored specifically to you. Our number one goal is to aesthetically and functionally combine your visions together to make your yard usable and beautiful.
After initial measurements and photographs are taken, we will begin the drawing stage. Each element including hardscapes, softscape, planting, lighting, and any extra elements you want will be indicated on a preliminary sketch. Once completed, the designer will send you a digital copy for you to review. We want your yard to reflect your lifestyle and personal tastes therefore included with your preliminary sketch will be a potential plant list. This list is tailored to your property taking into consideration the weather elements and aesthetic features. You will be able to choose your favorite plants to incorporate into your landscape.
Upon approval of your preliminary sketch and planting options, your designer will supply you with a 3D CAD to scale 24″ x 36″ design plan showing the house in relation to the whole lot, hardscapes including any walkways, patios and decks, and a detailed placement of all chosen plants with a schedule of their names, sizes, and quantities. Shear Perfection Landscape will then schedule you for a free Landscape Construction estimate and the Landscape Construction Installation Process begins.
