Over the past decade, Shear Perfection Landscape. has developed and handcrafted our processes in order for our customers to receive the best outcome. We have found that the customers who have done their research, collected their ideas via pictures and sketches have the most success and happiness with the final outcome of their project. We have refined this process to completely benefit the customer. Please take a moment to read this easy 3 step process and become familiar with the following steps to ensure your happiness with the final project.
The process begins with a free half hour one on one design consultation with our creative designers. We will listen to your ideas, your lifestyle and your personal tastes to see what elements are important to you as well as exploring different options to create a custom design tailored specifically to you. Our number one goal is to aesthetically and functionally combine your visions together to make your yard usable and beautiful.
After initial measurements and photographs are taken, we will being the drawing stage. Each element including hardscapes, softscape, planting, lighting and any extra elements you want will be indicated on a preliminary sketch. Once completed, the designer will send you a digital copy for you to review. We want your yard to reflect your lifestyle and personal tastes therefore included in your preliminary sketch will be a potential plant list. This list is tailored to your property taking into consideration the weather elements and aesthetic features. You will be able to choose your favorite plants to incorporate into your landscape.
Upon approval of your preliminary sketch and planting options, your designer will supply you with a hand drawn to scale 24″ x 36″ design plan showing the house is relation to the whole lot, hardscapes including any walkways, patios and decks, and a detailed placement of all chosen plants with a schedule of their names, sizes and quantities.
